I'm going to do full suspension hanging. I would like to take a benzo beforehand if I can get my Xanax prescription refilled in time. If not, I might take a beta blocker. I know it lowers your heart rate and blood pressure. I was wondering if that might get in the way of me successfully compressing my carotid arteries? If I can't get Xanax in time, would it be better to take nothing, or is a beta blocker okay?
