Discussion Anthony Bourdain-Why hanging?

The thought just occured to me why did Bourdain choose the method he did- as we know he used to take alot of drugs-he would have had contacts-and he had plenty of dollar-he could have just had a real nice meal-a beautiful bottle of wine-and a huge (as in too much) hit of the best Heroin money can I buy-that what I would do if I knew where/ how to get it. Why the flip would he do it the way he did-makes no sense-in fact all these celebs must have access to some real good quality benzos, thats what I would do if I knew how to get them anyway!

You can predict how much of a dose will kill you OR he killed himself impulsively. He used a hotel bathrobe belt, so he probably didn't plan it

As someone who has tried OD 2 times in the past, I wouldn't trust it again. Not unless it was the real N cocktail, preferably from a pro choice dr assistance. (one can dream)

also, who says he didn't try a dealer first but came up empty on perhaps very short notice? Maybe he didn't want to see anyone in his pre exit state, or he didn't want to loose his nerve and felt even a few minute delay would do that. Maybe he just preferred being in his (subjectively) right mind until the end.

Actually Robin & his wife were still together, she had not left him. He hung himself because he was despondent about his declining medical condition and was unaware that he had Lewy Body Dementia.

Reading on from it and not sure if this was a factor but he paid someone off that she sexually assaulted that came out after she filed a lawsuit against Harvey Weinstein. She was a predator herself.
