I'm currently watching reruns of an old tv show starring magicians Penn & Teller called Bullshit. The show is about debunking topics Penn & Teller consider to be scams or frauds. As Penn explains in the opening minutes of the first episode, if you accuse someone of running a scam or call them a fraud (at least in the US and I assume elsewhere also), you can be hauled into court. But if you say what they are claiming is bullshit or call them an asshole, that's free speech.
So, the first episode is about mediums who talk to the dead. It got me to thinking about it from a different perspective.

Again, this is hypothetical, for those of you who plan to ctb. If it were possible, would you communicate with anyone still living after you are dead? If so, how would you do it. . . send them a sign, appear to them as a ghost and speak directly to them, leave a message in blood written on the bathroom mirror like in a horror movie, something else?

Also, if you're comfortable saying so, who would you communicate with?

Would you want to haunt a particular place or person?

Since most of the people I would've chosen to haunt are already dead, I would like to haunt every doctor who ever denied me the care I was begging for, or dismissed me like I didn't matter, or who called me names like hypochondriac and drug seeker when all I wanted was medicine for my thyroid problems that worked. I would do whatever I could to drive them completely mad. Then, when they got thrown in the psych ward or decided to ctb to get away from me, I'd laugh maniacally like Vincent Price and ask them how they like being brought to the brink of suicide like they did to me.

It's a hypothetical situation, so have fun with it people. :smiling:

I'd haunt (in a nice way) my friends & do ghostly tricks so good things happened to them all.

Great question!

I don't think I would communicate with anybody. I wouldn't even haunt anybody. Seems like a waste of time. Plus I don't think I'd go through all that trouble considering I died to escape this hellhole of a place called earth. Don't wanna take another step on this place unless I have too.

That's nice. I would do something like that for my husband's twin granddaughters and my sister-in-law (even though she drives me crazy occasionally, but she's one of the sweetest people I've ever met). It's more like Casper, the friendly ghost. :smiling:

I would try to communicate with someone who could help me in my current existence and believe me I need help. The most helpful person would be: My grandmother. I would haunt every single toxic male who has ever lived and will ever live on this planet and this includes my dad.

I wouldn't want to communicate with anyone. Once I'm dead that's it I want everything to come to an end. I'm not even leaving a suicide note because I believe things are better left unsaid. My family knows of my suffering so there is no point. Though it may be interesting to be able to look down upon people and see what they're up to. But I wouldn't want to be able to do this forever.

I wouldn't haunt anyone and go peacefully.
But if I had no choice, I'd look over my loved ones and try to keep them safe. Leave them signs when possible.

If the afterlife allows it, I fully and unironically intend to haunt people who contributed to my state.
