Not Waving But Browned Off….

When we met (online), he asked me if I would end it with him, suggested maybe that was why we'd connected. I said no because at the time I was full of hope for all the love I felt for him and thought he felt for me. All I wanted us to be.
But now, almost 4 years on, I still love him madly but have no such hope. And so I asked him the same question on NYE because there's nothing left I take joy from.
And….he just ignored me. Says it all really, doesn't it?
Maybe he doesn't believe me, no longer wants to end it himself, I don't know.
People! Unreliable when it comes to both life and death. So many people say these things on a whim and don't mean them, about both love and death.
I don't.
