Yes Dolphins are known to do this if they get depressed and whales too if they get sick they will beach themselves to die, seen in that perspective we are pretty fortunate we have so many peacefull methods compared to sea creatures.

Come to think of it, i always heard that old seagulls will fly away from land and fly further toward the ocean to finally fall from exhaustion and die in a watery grave.

When dogs know death is close, they usually go to unusual places to lay down, preferably dark places.

I don't know if this is suicide or some kind of natural instinct that they are supposed to follow.

I remember this electrician came to my workplace to fix something and he told someone that he was going to die today or soon, something along those lines. Ten minutes later they found him dead, he died from a hart attack or something. I Remember they told me that he didn't complain about pain or his chest feeling tight, he just told someone that he was going to die today.

While this may be true, it is impossible to actually know whether this is intentional. Dolphins are extremely intelligent and social animals, like humans, but it's impossible for us to communicate with them at the same level as humans and so our assessment of their behavior is only based on our observations and our own interpretations.

I actually read a story yesterday about a woman who had a close relationship to a dolphin and when she left because of lack of funding the dolphin decended into the pull and drowned so it doesn´t take a genious to see why, here is the article from 'History Uncovered' from Facebook

I don't know if they flat-out commit suicide, but parrots will definitely self-harm by plucking out their feathers if they're under too much stress. I once saw a cockatoo from a sanctuary who had almost no feathers below its head

As mentioned, the problem is we can only make assumptions about whether an animal did commit suicide or what other possible reason they had for doing what they did. There are also plenty of myths floating around concerning this. Not to mention even if they did kill themselves, their perspective on what they are doing and why, may be different than what we are perceiving.

Are you asking if animals commit suicide or whether it's possible to commit suicide by animal?

This is true. They become stressed and pluck their feathers.

Right, our understanding of death is based on our perception of the world and our knowledge/experiences. It cannot possibly be the same for dolphins, as they live in a completely different world, and their intelligence is far less than ours at the very least (based on their encephalization quotient).

Some animals do that. But it rare. Mostly, depressed animal will just stop eating and just wait the end. A good example is animals in marinelands, circuses, zoos, any kind of shitty prisons for animals like that. If you look what happens every single minute in intensive farmings you'll see animal die only days or week after they born. Not from deceases, but because they won't eat and will be too weak to do anything. I saw a cow just giving up on life when the farmer took her baby away so he can take her milk. If you take an animal out of his natural environment, with no space, no freedom, no socialization with other animals and/or humans, most of them will first go crazy at first, and some of them will just wait and die.

Depression or sadness causes a loss of appetite and motivation. It seems that when animals stop eating, it is not a conscious decision to die per say, but just a lack of motivation or appetite, which can lead to starvation.

Humans are objectively the most evil creature on Earth and the only way for people to see this is if some kind of superior Alien species did the same to humans because they would just see us as meat and not intelligent creatures, I hate humans..

I feel you bro. Humanity needs to realize how these animals, cows, pigs, chickens, dolphins... All of them are just like us, they want to live free, they have feelings, they can fear, they can love, they can feel any kind of pain. Just like us.
