Brugmansia aka Angel's Trumpet
So, long story short. I need any kind of information regarding the toxicity or experience story of the plant.
As far as methods are concerned , for me , carbon monoxide is the best option to ctb. Since it's easy to get , painless death if used the proper 'pre-sedatives' , and relatively 'okay' body scenario. Of course , considering that it's done In a private place with proper signs and what not.
For me , getting proper pre sedatives is hard, so far. And after seeing the effects of trying it without a pre sedative , I'm sort of reluctant in trying it again. (Anyone interested in how it went can find my trial from last year on a carbon monoxide thread , or I could share).
Anyways , the point of this thread is...... I've recently been reading again about angels trumpets toxicity. And to be honest , although it's an easy to get / grow plant ... it's a very scary plant with very scary stories on the web. (And a possible ctb method?)
I've been growing the plant for almost a year now , and it has bloomed very well. Last week, I was feeling very shitty and I decided to give it a try (on a small amount, one whole flower). I smooshed the flower and chew until it was out of juice , but nothing happened then.
After reading more , I saw somehwere on the web that the leaves were more toxic/ hallucinogenic than the flowers . So,today, I juiced 4 medium sized leaves in a blender , and drank the whole thing.
After an hour or so , My pupils were a quarter more biger ,had a dizzy feeling , heavily slept for about half an hour (since I was already in bed) , didn't hallucinate.
I can't help but think if it is my body that is tolerating the toxicity of the amount I used , or is it that it's not as lethal as people say?
If anyone has any experience with the plant , I'd love to hear.
Also, after seeing the effect of the 4 leaves ..... I'm now going for another round with 8 leaves. (As seen on the pictures below)
First picture - chopped leaves in a small warm water mix ready to be blended.
Second picture - juiced leaves , a quarter of it in a cup.
