There have been a ton of N questions lately (even though you can't get any) so I thought I'd offer up a chance to see what an N death actually looks like.
It's a documentary, free on Paramount+, and available to rent for $5.99 on amazon Prime.
It's called Last Flight Home, and it is the story of a family who supports their patriarch as he chooses to end his own life. Although the drug is not mentioned by name, it is a powdered and very bitter drug not covered by insurance. Smart money says it's N.
You can skip to the last part of you like. The story chronicles his decision, the process that he goes through with the doctors and hospice, and finally his death.
He has what so many of us lack - a big, warm, loving family who stands by as he makes this decision and follows it to the end.
It's tough going and it had me bawling for a while, so it might not be the best entertainment for lots of us, but if you've just gotta know, well, there it is.
One thing to bear in mind: this is a medically fragile man who weighs little and whose body is failing him. If you're not in that position, there are no guarantees that your journey will be the same. But for those who just have to see it, there it is.
