Help Ammonia/Bleach

How reliable is ammonia and bleach? I've heard differing thoughts on it. I feel like it's something that would take quite a bit of time, but not sure. Anyone have any light to share on what happens during this? Just one of the many methods I've thought about.

Yeah, I wasn't sure how quickly it would over take me and then it would be painless, but I've read it can take a while and be painful. Not cool.

i think this is an up to you. do you want to take the risk type thing. at least it would be able to be an accident. "i was just trying to wash my floors"

Definitely some great info, thank you. With that being said, I don't think it's a solid enough method. A lot could go wrong, it could be super painful or just make me sick. If I could just inhale enough at once for it to knock me out n then just kill me, I'd think about it. It definitely could be spun more of an accident which would be good for close family, otherwise I'm not afraid for people to know I killed myself and it wasn't an accident. Good info to ponder, thank you!

for any method do your research and sometimes for the fun of it i like to ask myself "could i make this work" on a rhetorical level. basically if i take sleeping pills or antacids could this work? just another thing to maybe keep in mind. its actually interesting all the variables. some a little more complicated then others however

Definitely. Research is key and playing with the variables can be interesting. I've always wanted to take a big swig of bleach anyways just to see what it's like. It's amazing the different varaables that can come together that could work, When I do it, I want to make sure it's a quick and clear guaranteed death though.

that is exactly how i feel about death. just quick gone, no fail. definitely no fail. i have a phobia of needles so waking up in a hospital wont be for me. hopefully at the very least my husband would keep my wishes and tell them to keep me unconscious until im unhooked.

i would(nt). ok. i wouldnt. judging by what i just read and know. it would feel like youre burning from the inside out basically (if i had to make a guesstimate) i would, but thats a personal thing because i hate myself.

i don't recommend either method. bleach would likely be less unpleasant than ammonia, but both are abhorrent.

This has been discussed here before. The gas generated does not lead to a peaceful end. You most likely would survive with damaged lungs at the least. Below is the effects of mixing the two.

Mixing Bleach and Ammonia​

When bleach is mixed with ammonia, toxic gases called chloramines are produced. Exposure to chloramine gases can cause the following symptoms:

• Coughing.
• Nausea.
• Shortness of breath.
• Watery eyes.
• Chest pain.

Never thought I'd see someone post chloramine exposure as a suicide method, but surprise, surprise...

Ever seem a 4chan thread on a guy mixing bleach and ammonia? No? Well... you have now.
And here's another post on a guy who mixed vinegar and bleach to produce a similar gas.

While there's a possibility that chloramine wont have as much of a severe effect on the skin like chlorine does, but I can only imagine that's what it'll do to your airways.

It is a fucking stupid method that has an incredibly low probability of death and an incredibly high probability of injuring yourself or others.
