Does Amazon really have bad working conditions in its warehouse OR is the negative publicity just a hype ? Anyone have first hand experience or knows someone who works there ? What do they say?
From this episode, and from every friend I've had who's worked in an Amazon warehouse, they all say it's been quite miserable and unfulfilling. Working for their more corporate type jobs is apparently a good experience though.
It's a pretty genius move. They drum up hype for all jobs of theirs by treating certain employees very well then when they hire for warehouses, people who don't know any better get excited that they got a job at Amazon and think like they're working for Google or Facebook or something like that. A couple of the friends I had fell for this.
