Am I wrong for wanting to die because I'm not at "the top of the food chain" ?
Is a life of being poor and unattractive / borderline Asperger's-having enough to be suicidal?
My brain is not wired for this reality - the world seems like a game that would only be "fun" under certain conditions. AKA to be at "the top of the food chain". This is lame and I don't have the energy to expand, hopefully my question is understood.

Life's a bitch but there's more to it then just being top of the food chain. But I get what you mean. Its unfair an I hate the inequality in today's society. You shouldn't have to question wherever your wrong or not. Its your life. And only your decision. You are the master of your own universe.

I definitely agree there is more out there than being at the top - I don't expect anyone to be that demanding of life, it's more of a personal thing. I'm exaggerating quite a bit too, I could find fulfillment somewhere in the middle I'm sure. It's just never even seeing that middle ground has had me bummed for the longest time.

natural selection

The lower on the totem pole the less chance of survival you have. It makes since that suicide/depression would correlate with natural selection.

The conditions for ones desire to die is irrelevant. Human beings should have the right to terminate their existence at any given time with the most peaceful methods.

The only reason we're forced to live is because the state can't tax the dead. The optimist doctrine exists to justify psychiatric slavery and unnecessary prolonged existence. So many people are brainwashed beyond comprehension in regards to the "life is beautiful" sentiment.

To be honest I think your viewpoint makes you a lot stronger than all those who spend 60+ years in misery for no reason. Kinda like honour. Life is a giant lottery. You didn't choose anything. Who made someone like Trump a billionaire in the highest position on the planet? It's not your fault. It's not his fault. No reason to be proud or ashamed.

The only real choice we have is to end it and even that is hard due to our genetic predispositions.

If you have a reason that makes you think that catching the bus is the right decision, then you are never wrong. For there was no "big" reason for us to be born. Our parents had sex. Out of the many times they did so our mothers concieved us once and someone else would have been born from our mothers instead of us if some other sperm had fused with the ovum. If you think deeply about it, there was no "big enough reason for you to be born". You just took birth. So I don't think pro-lifers and other people should judge someone's "act" rational only if there was a "big" reason. Fuck it. Why should I need a big reason to die when there was no big reason for me to take birth?!

You're not wrong at all. Humans are predatory species by scientific definition. With that comes bullying behavior with the "alphas" getting all the meat. The desire for power and dominance over "weaker" members of any species is evolutionary built in. I hate this fact but I can't deny it. One of the many reasons I want to CTB.

What matters is your right to die no matter the reason.

Not everyone is born to be with the apex, there is a social and biological hierarchy that exists.

However, you asked if not being born as say an 'alpha' or within the upper echelons of the human social and biological hierarchy is reason enough to take your own life.

That's a question you have to answer. You have to justify your reasons to yourself. We can give you validation, but the only validation that counts is the validation that which comes from within.

I don't think you're wrong. Life can be good for certain people (even most people), but not everyone is fit for living. Only you can determine whether that's your case.

I know that I'm not fit for living. When I think back, I've realized that I knew this since my distant childhood, but didn't have the knowledge to explain it...

Everyone has their own reasons and they're perfectly valid, you feel what you feel and there's no shame in that.
The sad reality is that the world is kinder to those at the "top". But bear in mind, having those desirable attributes doesn't make one inherently happy. By society's standards I'm deemed attractive and 'agreeable' in nature, but I'm still sad and lonely within. When I have the money to travel and do fun things, I still feel empty inside. I don't know if that brings you any comfort. I'm sorry you feel the way you do.

It's okay to feel this way. I've fluctuated in what my status in society is and let me tell you - a life isn't worth living if you don't have a girlfriend/sex, genuine friends, and something you are passionate about.

It is common for the culture to want to spam you with platitudes about how you can improve your life to give you some false hope. But believe me - for a lot of people it's fucking hopeless and there is no point in trying. The corporations and government just want you alive for your labor and money. The system wants you to be alive even when your life is shit.

Yes. Living with the only goal of being at the very top won't get you anywhere.

Your thoughts and feelings based on your personal version of reality are never "wrong".
One of the top reasons for ctb is Thwarted Belonging.
What you are describing are thoughts related to Thwarted Belonging.
When you combine Thwarted Belonging with lack of concern for your own safety is when you see people ctb.
