This is partially a vent as well as a question but I need answers. A couple days ago I was informed that my ex (we were dating a few days ago) told people she hated me for several reasons. We had had several situations before this but this was probably my snapping point. I think at that moment, anything romantic left. I do not love her romantically anymore, and I never will again.
However, that is not the problem, the issue arrives because I feel even better than I have in a while after breaking up, and it feels amazing. On the other end, my ex seems sad about the whole thing and says she wants to be more than friends. I do not at all. She's been sad and I feel guilty because she seems upset the whole situation did not upset me like it did for her.
I genuinely feel the best I have in months, and I have no intent on dating my ex again, but is it bad I moved on so quickly, even though we had problems like this before?
(Extra notes: The person who informed me said that because she hated me so much it affected their friendship as well, and my ex has made it clear she does hate me, so it is not a situation of her being embarrassed of me.)
