Does anyone else see a possible escape everywhere they look and get sad they can't take advantage of the situation in that moment? Like when you see a passing train and know there's so much potential in that beast. Or a cellphone tower that is especially tall. I even thought about it recently when I donated plasma. I wondered if a 16 gauge needle would be an effective way to bleed to death.

I was at the trainstation the other day when a freight train came through it at full speed. Yes it made me think I could have been in front of it and as it drove by I heard the clickety-clack sounds you know? I was imagining what would happen if I were indeed under it, what all those people would do, what a mess it would be and made me really sad . Not sad that I didn't take advantage of the moment, though.
I was sad because I don't really want to die, just don't want to live like this anymore.

BTW Jumping in front of a train is not even my method, and never will be.

Oh yeah.
Since this all started my mind immediatly sees ways of suicide in almost everything i put my eyes on that seems to be minimally adequate, at least.
The trains are a daily reminder as i use them to move around daily.

Good as you're taking the train driver with you and a life of misery.

People who CtB via trains (CtT?) screw up everyone's commute. That's in addition to the the train crew.

I'm at a coffeehouse right now as I'm posting on here. There is a live harpist and bitch played "suicide is painless" and now that Frank Sinatra song "I did it my way" that starts off with "now the end is near". Jeez think the universe is giving a big fat nod of approval?

If you could manage to get a 16 g needle into a large enough vein yourself I think it's possible to bleed out a significant amount. I would take lots of aspirin before hand to make sure blood doesn't clot and clog up needle?

Yeah. I would use alcohol and aspirin to impede clotting, and nicotine and caffeine to increase blood pressure. I've seen how fast the blood comes out of the short tube on the needle when a hemostat slips off and it's fast. But it's faster with a tourniquet so maybe one could use a blood pressure cuff to serve as an intermittent tourniquet.

Last night I was out with a friend I have a crush on, we were waiting for a bus and I saw this one white moving van fly by in slow motion, I would've had time but uncertainty of death just holds me back, plus I would've just fucked my friends up...and I still had some hope I'd win her over but she made it very clear she's not interested last night. Hopefully the next time I see that train/van or whatever it is in the moment approaching I'll just close my eyes and take a leap, I doubt I will but I can hope
