I'm in this circle of misfortune, again. It makes me start wondering if there's something "wrong" about me. Maybe it's in my nature to seek complicated ways to deal with things? My mum has always said that our family is pursued by accidents, but I've never been very superstitious.

Today I got sued by my first laywer (I have this compensation case going after a traffic accident). "They" have already taken disbursement pledge (?) in my appartement. I don't understand anything, and because of Covid, my new laywer is too busy to help me.

How do I recover under these circumstances? I never get time to heal.

Sometimes the only thing you can do is take the hits until you can strike back or until you find your opening.

It's not much but it's the truth in many situations.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I've kind of a breaking point of my own. I dunno where to turn to or where to get meaningful help.... I guess that's why I'm here

Sometimes you just have to wait it out. Sometimes you can prioritize. While you wait it can help to give yourself something to boost your spirits like humor.

Speaking of prioritizing reminded me of a George Carlin comedy routine. He played a TV weatherman and said that on the radar was a line of thunder clouds followed by 10,000 Russian ICBMs (missiles). He would then say, "I wouldn't sweat the thunder clouds any".

There are things we can control, things we might be able to control, and things we can't control. If you are facing an uncertain legal situation, you may want to get information that will help you understand what options you might have. If your new lawyer is too busy, you might try a legal aid office or even a law school that offers access to their students.
