Looking to potentially buy N. Want to use moneygram/western union to transfer payment, as I have no idea how to use bitcoin or monero, and at the moment I'm not mentally able to learn. However, my ID is lost so I cannot use their store, but rather online. Want to use debit card, but will this be cancelled?

I use Coinbase to purchase Bitcoin, which I recommend - it's pretty straightforward. You do need to provide your ID for verification purposes, but other than that, you just input the amount you want to to purchase in cash, and it will convert it to Bitcoin.

All that seems so complicated to me no matter how simplified it is. I just wonder if anyone's used Moneygram/westernunion online to send large sums of money without complication?

I've used both Moneygram and Western Union online and I did not need to provide proof of identification. Things might have changed in the last few years but I think you could try at least. I am pretty sure that you will be able to do it.

I sent about $100US, so not as much as you'll be sending. I honestly don't think you'll have a problem sending money. You might want to just give it a shot. I've dealt with D in the past and he was very helpful through the whole process. If you get that far in the buying process and it doesn't work, at least you tried. You could even set up a few payments in lesser amounts if necessary.

Yes, thank you, I suppose I will just have to. But in order to not arise suspicions, I just wonder what it is best to call the transaction - a loan or a gift? I'm not sure what works best.

I would probably go with "gift" if I had to choose. If you're buying one bottle it couldn't be more than $400US (unless prices have shot up lately) and that's not enough money to arouse any kind of suspicion.

I had this very discussion with D. He will NOT accept any credit card payment because he has concerns of Stop Payment on the Card. A debit card/credit card works the same way. If you are going to use WU, you have to physically go into a location, and YES you need picture ID and you send CASH ONLY. You literally give CASH to the WU Clerk. Always send in your curreny not his. IF you have no ID, you cannot use this method.

Just use coin corner/local Bitcoin and buy bc then send it to the given address that the seller provides.

If still hesitant look for tutorials on YouTube. If then again your still hesitant then choose another method lol

I used money gram, they required ID. Maybe just go replace your ID and then use one of those.

Was the money spent on anything illegal though? This is a federally controlled substance and that's what worries me about going that route (although I would truly find it to be far preferable to crypto).

Your bank didn't flag the transaction as suspicious either?

Apparently MoneyGram now asks for a "CLABE" if your transaction is directed to Mexico

IF you dont say you want to send the money via WU, he will not suggest it because its a hassle to have to go pick up the money at a location. When you place your order, tell him that you are not comfortable with bitcoin and please send you instructions on how to send it via Western Union. See what he says Someone mentioned these type of transactions are sometimes cancelled (not just to D to anyone in general). WU sends money to over 200 countries worldwide, its a huge company with head office in the USA. I might believe an order on occasion gets accidentally cancelled but you dont lose your money, they just have to resend it on their computer. So I would definetely tell him (D) you prefer to pay this way (if you do )and see what he says. Good Luck

For WU online website, use a Debit Card= same as Cash (Not a credit card)
