Between the fixes is a waiting game and there's not much progress in other areas of your life. Sure, the longer between the fixes the more chance of some progress. But any progress moves at a glacial pace. And any progress can easily be wiped out.

Cos all you're ever really living for is the next fix. And when it comes you suddenly feel your reason for living or, rather, for waiting.

But what you might end up dying for are the consequences of this lifestyle: one that seems less like you chose, and more like it chose you.

Pretty much my relationship with every unhealthy vice I have.
From Alcohol to distraction through pointless drama. None of it is helping me but I can't let go it .

Yeah this is me with booze. I wake up every morning with the most intense stomach pains and it takes me a few hours to feel remotely functional.

But by 4pm I'll be pouring the first of the evening just to numb out the rest of the night. Then do it all again.
