• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

Hello

This is a political vent about the situation in Poland. You know there are roads and cars. If you're not careful you can cause an accident. Reckless driving is illegal in Poland but courts don't care. Read carefully this is absurd. If you drive very very badly you can be sentenced for up to 3 years or lose your driving licence FOR LIFE. However if you go driving after losing your licence forever it isn't punished harder. So basically you can drive however you wish, lose your licence 5 times and don't go to jail. Yes. You lose the right to driving but you don't lose your car or freedom so you can continue driving recklessly.

A year ago a bad guy drove OVER 250 kilometers per hour and he bumped into a car with a family inside. The family got BURNED and they all died. The murderer lived because his car was built for high speed driving. He fled to Dubai and Polish government is trying to take him to Poland to judge him. Meanwhile his wife is suing people who refer to him as a murderer. If Polish government succeeds in taking him back he will get max 8 years in prison.

A few months ago a guy was driving under influence with his girlfriend and mates. They drove over 200 kilometers per hour and they bumped into a car with family of four - mother, father, two small children. The father died instantly, mother and children got injured and the woman is still disabled. The girlfriend of that guy is paralyzed. The murderer tried to flee but this time he got caught.

One Polish singer got into accident while drunk. Her sentence was drastically reduced because she creates important art. She's a singer and her music isn't that good.

If you stab a person with a knife you get 25 years of prison in Poland. If you SET A FAMILY ON FIRE USING YOUR CAR you get max 8 years in prison if they catch you.
Having a few grams of weed in Poland is more dangerous than driving without license. If you drive without license you simply get another ban. If you have weed you are treated like a serious criminal. Don't get me wrong I hate drugs but I think a junkie is less dangerous than a murderer with a car.

Polish goverment is trying to do something but not much. I want my government to protect me from murderers am I asking for too much?

Bad drivers seem to be a universal thing, never heard about the legal situation in Poland. Sounds horrible, is it sort of like anarchy on the Polish roads?

Life isn't fair. I don't think you're wrong at all, those are horrible situations. I've come to realize those that want to die- don't. The innocent people and those who want to live forever seem to be the 1st to go.

I don't know how that man can sleep at night knowing what horrific thing he done. I believe in Karma, so I believe he will suffer, maybe not the judicial way, but he will

I don't know what you mean by anarchy. You will get tried it's just the judges give you minimal possible sentences. Why are they so lenient? I don't know. Yes the maximal sentences for road crimes are still very low but they are hardly ever given. So basically you will be charged but you will be given a parole every time. There are people who have 5 OR MORE LIFETIME DRIVING BANS and are still driving. And you need to drive really really bad to get one lifetime ban.
Imagine someone got caught stealing and instead of going to jail theyd get banned from entering the store but the guards would have 0 authority to enforce that. Absurd? This is what's happening with crazy drivers.

They tried to create a law which states if you're caught driving while drunk your car gets taken away. But they failed to write the law and it cannot be enforced. This is absurd. It was many months and I haven't heard new updates.

Yeah I hope this guy suffers one way or another. And it's not like "18 yo not knowing what they're doing". He has a wife had a stable job was around 30 years old. Normal cars can't go over 250 km/h. If you want to go faster you need to perform an illegal manipulation on the car.

Those are classic examples of absurdism of polish law, and yet majority is so against the major reform, it sucks so much, that I dont even want to think about it.
