That's one method I'd be most terrified about failing because if you fail that, you could end up stuck as a heroin addict and just suffer even more.

I still have hope there is validity in the shallow water blackout method to drowning. For some reason, no one seems to talk about it anymore based off of a few people's failure.

YES, I think this all the time! Like for years when I take an aeroplane all the people around me are sinning there praying about there safety and I am sitting there praying it will crash. Also, COVID....that could be a way out.....although to be fair neither of these options would be a good way to die. Preferably something far quicker

Or you could make it 1000x worse. I know a guy who fell 500 feet in a skydiving accident; he got a spinal cord injury and his life is miserable now.

Yea I think most 'accidental' ways that can come off as accidental, are going to be extremely painful or dangerous to other people around you. There's a lot of animals for instant that you could use to do the job for you instead of a psycho killer. But being mauled or having your lungs slowly succumb to paralysis sound like agony to me.

I've thought about walking in front of a car etc but wouldn't want to leave the driver who hit me traumatised, also the fact death isn't guaranteed and I could end up with life long injuries terrifies me. There seems to be no guaranteed painless way out that wont also impact others :( I wish I didn't care about others so much.

It varies, but what induces it quicker is hyperventilation. Check the Resource Compilation here on SS for more info. I learned a lot about it there. It will certainly be part of my method.

Like, I know I need to jump but I wont do it right now, not because I have people who care about me (no one cares), but because Im afraid of failure and all the problems it will bring.
But if a speeding truck ran my way tommorrow, I would not back out.
Or maybe wholly overdo it and drink myself to death one day, or find out I have cancer and just refuse chemo and go home.
Whatever, as long as I dont have to take the matters into my own hands...

Might I suggest you CO poisoning? I think it's a way of CTB that leaves your intention vague. Check this out:

Yeah but I don't live alone, I still live with my parents so that wouldn't be possible
I wish i could make it look like an accident but I'm extremely anti social and I don't go anywhere so just me deciding to go out is already weird. And I feel like I'm never alone..my mom doesn't work (dad supports whole family) so she's always at home and I feel like she's always breathing down my neck and I'm being spied on.

Perfect, buy a selfie stick for you phone/camera and start taking selfies and pictures of everyone including the wild life and tell them it's your new hobby, after a few months start conversations saying you want to get exciting daring pictures and I will leave the rest up to you it dangerous and a lot of people have died taking pictures but on the other hand you might enjoy it and change your mind.

A Russian women was taking a selfie holding a loaded gun to her head and shot and killed herself.
