Just to let everyone know polyethylene rope works with a hollow door! I have the end tied to the doorknob with a simple clove hitch. I weigh 140lbs and put my whole weight against it. Totally holds up. Did 2 test runs and my vision faded both times. I know most people have a hard time finding the sweet spot but, a super light door works just fine with the ligature.

Thanks for the info, partial is my natural environmentally enforced back-up or short-to-medium time constraint method. How do you position your body when doing this? Are you using a simple noose (edit: looks like hangman's, why?)? Any lubricants?

Mines below Adam's apple. I'm so pissed off we even have to suffer in trying to die. It's hard too do. This thing called life is a bastard. I'm gonna try again soon to die despite the odds stacked against. Think its 25 too 1 against. A simple pill should be legal. Would save all the gruesomeness of the event.
