I changed my plan because I originally planned to produce carbon monoxide in the small bathroom on the second floor, but the bathroom had a ventilation system, so I had to relocate.

1. So I can only do it in my bedroom. My bedroom is approximately 25 square meters, and my bedroom has a vent that leads to the heating of the whole house, so my question is it useful for me to seal this vent with tape?

2. I asked ChatGPT about how many kilograms of charcoal I needed, but many people said ChatGPT may not be accurate. So, due to the increased space, I want to know if I using 10kg of charcoal is enough for my bedroom?

I would appreciate it if you could provide me answers .

That is dangerous for others if CO is moving slowly through that vent into other building parts even if you seal it you won't be able to seal it 100%.

Assuming that your room height is 3m you have a volume of 75m³. That requires minimum 10kg according to the guide https://sanctioned-suicide.net/threads/charcoal-method-advice.94265/post-1655792

The room is big. You probably should use 30kg - that will produce a lot of heat! CO is a little bit lighter than air, that means near the floor you have the least concentration.

Consider a tent.

This is a method I used several years ago; as you can probably guess since I'm writing to you, it was a complete failure.

Here are the various details about my attempt:
-6kg of charcoal
-5m² bathroom
-Adhesive tape to make the bathroom airtight
-Frying pan
-Firelighters

I had underestimated the heat and smell produced. I stayed for approximately 2 hours, but it was really very unpleasant. I had only just started to get headaches..
I must have done something wrong, but it's clearly not as simple as you might think. Maybe having better equipment like a tent, portable barbecue, etc..Would help

Please do not make a CO attempt in any shared building. There is a risk you could kill anyone else that lives there, Especially as you have a vent that connects to the heating ducts for the rest of the residence. Not only would you have to seal the vent, you would need to seal the any doors and the windows to make them air tight. Also seal any cracks/holes in the walls.

Thank you for your advice.
I will definitely think about it, but idk which kind of tent would be the best for it. For me, being in a very small space makes me feel anxious, I'm also worry that could turn to a big fire.

There are threads about tents I think and people who have attempted in tents. You can use the search.

Hey guys, I would like to know do I really need to buy a carbon monoxide detection device with a concentration of up to 10000ppm? I found one in Germany that costs around 400 euros.

So if I use a tent like Malawi 2, how can I avoid while I'm checking each time the CO and I enter the tent without the CO running out?

Sorry, I am quite confused because I saw another girl who has already left, and she has been waiting inside all along, and I'm not sure if I should do same as her or …… I'm sorry, I'm really messy because I want to leave as quickly as possible!!!!
