A Simple Poem

Don't cry for me
I am finally free

Far away from the pain, guilt and sadness
I no longer live this life of madness

I tried for you
But you said we were through

And I slowly rotted away
Becoming lesser everyday

But know that I love you
Even though that you outgrew

I'm in a peaceful place now
I've taken my final bow
