We are only still "alive" because we do not wish to hurt the 4 people in this world we love. Because we know that if we put an end to our suffering, it may very well break them and they don't deserve that. We wish we could choose to never have existed. At least a few lives would have been much better without us having been intertwined in them, unintentionally dragging them down with us as we come ever closer towards a decision that is as inevitable as the first breath we ever took. We want to be happy. We want for a desire to live. We always have. We are coming to terms with the fact we cannot be happy and as such have no desire to live. We exist in constant severe pain with no adequate relief. We exist while our mind breaks in isolation. We exist with none of our emotional needs able to be fulfilled. A question has followed us for as long as we can remember. A simple question with no simple answer. Why? At least now we have our answer.
