In another topic I written a long time ago in regards to voluntary euthanasia, this redditor made a good post on reddit. He mentioned about how we humans are brought into this world without our consent, thus we should at least have the right and freedom of choice in deciding when, where, and how we choose to exit this world (a world that we never asked to be a part of in the first place).
Below is u/Hrkl's post:
Of course, there are some pro-lifers and dissenters in the comments as usual. One such comment shows even with that subreddit there are even divisive points on the nuances of assisted suicide (some people who are grey on the issue but still troubled about having medical professionals assist those who are suffering tremendously to exit peacefully). Imho, assisted suicide should be available to all those who wish to leave this shitty world (have measures and screenings in place to prevent abuse and make sure that people who are choosing it is 100% sure that he/she wants to CTB), especially those who are suffering immensely and lack the (physical) capacity to do so (e.g. paralyzed, no limbs, etc.).

I was brought into this existence against my knowledge and will. Into an ugly world as well — one full of so much pain and suffering and inequality and prejudice. We have the tech and money and means to provide everyone with good housing, water, food, healthcare, education and employment yet so many of us are struggling like fucking crazy just trying to obtain the bare minimum to survive. I'm poor and mentally ill and the VERY LEAST THIS CURSED SOCIETY OWES ME IS THE MEANS TO LEAVE PEACEFULLY AND PAINLESSLY. How dare you try and trap me here? We deserve services that can offer people painless peaceful euthanasia shots. Throwing yourself off a building or blowing off your head sounds horrible. I'm so fucking sick of this world. We all deserve so much better just by existing, I believe that. Yet we all fester in a shithole. Well then at least let me get the fuck out peacefully
