Why do we withhold acknowledgment, existing as mere hollow vessels ceaselessly questing for the subsequent entity that shall momentarily satiate our emptiness, only to witness the void within us expand further, compelling us to seek an alternate surrogate? Meanwhile, our minds intricately weave these convoluted deceits, rationalizing the addiction to existence, thereby imbuing the matter with a semblance of logic. Yet, it is we alone who permit such, for there exists no alternative save the inevitability of demise. At our elemental core, we are hypocrites, conscious deceivers, fully cognizant of our actions and the veracity therein, yet lacking the requisite dignity to concede our own sordidness.
