Working on a project and at the last moment realizing my wife was stalking me. The smile in her eyes when she knew she had all the power tickling me. When she gave me a hug, a firm hug, letting me know I was loved. It was a good life and stretched out for many years. I loved that life.

Not really. It's all been coping mechanisms and trying to get through the best I could. I've had happier periods in life but, nothing consistent.
Did you OP? Are you sure there's no way of getting back to it? I've never been able to decide which was worse. Someone who did have an enjoyable life. They would have something they could aim to get back to. I imagine that would be more motivating than someone who's never experienced a satisfying life and, doesn't believe it exists. On the other hand, if they truly feel like they can't get back to it, it's got to be so bittersweet.

When I was younger . I never realized what they had me doing watching TV , youttube social media news were just meaningless addictions .
Recently I realized life is a scam, prison , and torture, slavery an evil imposition
I detest every time I do anything to condone this evil imposition.
