Help a couple questions about methods

hello!

after failing my overdose a few weeks ago i've decided i gotta go for something more potent.

ideally relatively painless and easy to get.

if anyone has good, comprehensible threads on FSH/PSH, that would be much appreciated! bonus points if they include details about hypermobility.

i'm unsure how to get the rope though, as my family knows of my last overdose so they will be looking at the things i order most likely. this is why i also cannot do SN.

any help is appreciated, but i understand if you are unable to. take care of yourselves, we live in a tough world.

I'd advise you to check out the methods megathread, as there are detailed guides there.

Also, ik it sounds obvious but make sure you plan everything out carefully and don't act on impulse. I've seen people who've ended up in a worse situation tham before simply because they didn't plan through their attempt carefully

i've checked out the methods megathread, but personally i feel as though it lacks in a way? like the guides on FSH/PSH are pretty lackluster and you really gotta dig for some decent ones, which is why i'm askin'!

the thread is like a year or two old i believe and there's been a lot of new information on sasu from people in the community. i know the whole thing with sasu is u gotta find it urself and whatnot >_>

also i know about impulse, this is just a "last ditch effort" kind of thing :-) it makes me feel a lot better if i know there's a solid way out in case things turn to shit, if that makes sense. i tend to try to plan as best i can before trying anything again. my overdose, while unsuccessful, was called "very planned out" by healthcare workers >_> oops

Yeah I get you, it's hard to find answers for specific questions on the threads.

I understand what you mean by "last ditch effort" it's reassuring to always have a backup option. It sounds like you're going to be well prepared and I hope you find peace <3

Also you'd need to hang yourself somewhere where you wouldn't get find immediately. You'll need to be atleast 30 minutes without getting saved. The longer the better.

its a shame how rarely they work…

about getting it from a store, i am pretty physically disabled so leaving the house without a family member isn't advised for me. i'm thinking about purchasing some off of ebay and pretending its for a craft or something if i can't find a good alternative.

i will also have plenty of time in between when i do it and when i get found. i'm not too worried about that.

ODs, and the statistics that there is a very low chance of success is extremely misleading.

When they say there is a single digit percentage that OD will work, this is including all of the people who tried to OD on stuff that most certainly would not work - people who down a bottle of Tylenol or Benadryl or other non lethal pills, both OTC and prescription. The problem is that ODs are often impulsive, and since pills of some sort are usually lying around, people will simply down them and then not CTB.

However, if the statistics accounted for people who took medications that can lead to ctb, this would be a much more valuable statistic.

The same thing happens with hanging. They say that only 70 or 80% of hangings are successful (full suspension). Again, this includes people who didn't bother getting a secure anchor point, or the right type of knots/rope, or were saved. People who have a secure anchor point, a knot that won't come undone and won't be found for at least 20-30 minutes, the success rate is 100%.
