  • Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

has anyone ever been on or tried taking 5-htp? how was it and would you say it helped you?
ive bought myself 5-htp and are thinking of using it later on once my anti deps are done (if i still have depression by then which is high likely tbh as the meds dont seem to be doing much but to make me numb which makes my life more liveable and reduces the thought of suicide but i cant help but be sad within and unmotivated to do anything)

so im mainly asking if anyone ever was on 5htp how was it for you and did you like it? did it help you in any kind of way if so how was it!

(also unrelated what do you guys think of melatonin supplement?)

didnt take it, but heard the name a lot. it seems to be a very popular supplement in the drug community, not sure how it exactly helps. melatonin is the sleeping stuff no? that's supposed to help you sleep and fix your natural rhythm

I used to take St. John's Wort and 5HTP years ago. I'm sort of considering starting again. I felt like it did help a bit. Maybe that was psychological but, who cares? I was working in retail at the time and it was maybe one of the most unhappy periods in my life. So, it had a lot to battle- as it were! That said, do be aware of any side effects. I know St. John's Wort certainly has them.
