22lr revolver?

Hello, I've gotten access to a old 22lr revolver and my question is, will this be enough? I'm thinking of a classic shot from the side of my head or from inside the mouth. I've heard that sometimes 22lr fails because of its small caliber. I'll not be able to get anything bigger as the gun laws in my country are rather strict.

Could you guys give me some advice on this matter? Thank you!

I think it's too risky. It *could* work, but the likelihood is low of successful CTB. More likely to seriously injure yourself and create/add a totally new dimension to all of your current problems, assuming you have current problems. You could screw yourself up so badly that you might not be able to take yourself out of this "new" hell you find yourself in.
