Now that the forum has more than 20,000 members, I wanted to ask some questions and opinions, it seems the family is growing so let's see what our dear members think.
This is a great perspective. I will use it from now on52.
My biggest regret in life is that I didn't do myself in 26 years ago....when I was 26.
I ask myself:
*Am I any happier today than I was 26 years ago? Answer: no!
*Am I any healthier now than 26 years ago? No.
*Am I any younger now than I was 26 years ago? No.
*Am I any richer now than 26 years ago? No.
*Am I (or the world) more free now than 26 years ago? No.
I can ask myself these same questions from a future perspective:
Will I be any happier/healthier/younger/richer/freer 26 years from now (in the year 2047) when I reach the age of 78 years old?
Again, the most likely and obvious answer will still be no.
There's nothing worse than seeing time passing by around us while we're still. I feel you. This is my main motivation to ctb34. Time has certainly flown by for me. And the worst part is that nothing has changed.
I'm 57. Get it completely. So tired, nothing new under the sun.52.
